The relatives of young people missing after a devastating blaze at a bar in a Switzerland's winter destination are enduring an painful wait for official news and pleading for any details about their children via social media.

The fire engulfed the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of January 1st. Verified footage depict the ceiling being engulfed in flames as bottles with sparklers are raised in celebration.

Officials have warned that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of four dozen individuals and hurt another scores more. Officials stated on Friday that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with efforts still underway to identify the other six.

His parent, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An official spokesperson has indicated that a official announcement of his death is not yet.

Further Missing Individuals

Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is likewise among the missing. His mother explained that he had been on holiday but had ventured out with a group and found himself at the venue.
