They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league over two years since relocating to allow renovations to start. “Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.” The stadium will not be at full capacity but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. When completed, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities. Preparatory Events The club conducted an open training session at the Camp Nou in early November. The club said they are seeking authorization from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
